IV Nurse/ IV Technician

We seek motived individuals to join our growing team! The Wellness Lounge is a premier, naturopathic, aesthetic, and regenerative medicine practice located in the heart of Anchorage, Alaska.

For this reason, we’re looking for experienced IV technicians to perform IV services, assist our advanced functional practitioners, and manage the client experience. The ideal candidate will be warm and engaging, detail oriented, and organized. Working together as a team our focus is on creating quality care and experience for our clients on their health journey. 

General Duties & Responsibilities:

  1. As an IV technician, you’re proficient in administering injections, blood draws, and IV procedures; formulation, administration, and discontinuation.

  2. You manage the clinic flow, ensure client comfort, uphold safety standards, and address the client’s needs during their experience. 

  3. You are able to multitask and have a strong attention to detail to accurately detect client vitals, process medical forms, and document client care. 

  4. As a liaison for The Wellness Lounge, you advocate for our client’s highest quality of care, inform the team of the client’s response to treatment, diligently follow up on client care, and assigned tasks.

  5. Use strong product knowledge and sales acumen, you can educate clients on available services and products at The Wellness Lounge. 

  6. You’re able to engage clients in health conversations, learn and remember their health goals, and discuss appropriate plans of care. 

  7. You strive for growth and additional learning opportunities, you work with your team on special projects, and take on additional assigned tasks as needed.

Qualifications

  1. Current Alaska License Registered Nurse/EMT III/Paramedic

  2. Preferred 1 year experience in an IV clinic setting or equivalent

  3. Ability to interpret a variety of data and instructions, via written, oral, diagram, or schedule form

  4. Basic understanding of human anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology. 

  5. Possess written and verbal communication skills to explain sensitive information clearly and professionally to diverse audiences, including non-medical people

  6. Well developed time management and organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize assignments and working within standardized operating procedures and scientific methods to achieve objectives and meet deadline

  7. General computer knowledge

  8. Pay Range:-$42-$50 an hour
